  1. Its’ not easy to make a living solely as an author. But it’s not impossible either. It’s every author’s dream to watch the royalty checks stream in. Wouldn’t we all want to live like that?
But the fact that it’s not impossible tells us then that it is achievable, yes reachable! Make a GOOD product, get a following of readers and keep churning out good products. The news will spread that you are a good author and then the royalty checks will follow.
Very few authors can live on just one book alone. Oh there are some examples…do you remember Peter Benchley’s novel: Jaws?
Quick…what other novel did he write? Exactly my point. He managed to make it BIG on one novel even though he wrote other novels (The Deep) it was Jaws that put him on the map.
My dream? I don’t want to quit my day job, I love landscaping…but I would love for my books to support me in the summer months where I don’t have to work in 120 degrees temperature….so…help this poor boy out will ya?

  2. And it can be done. I wish you success on your new one ‘a Long, Hard Look’
